ORA-01460:unimplemented or unreasonable conversion requested
Cause:The requested format conversion is not supported.
Action:Remove the requested conversion from the SQL statement. Check the syntax for the TO_CHAR, TO_DATE, and TO_NUMBER functions to see which conversions are supported.

problems after installing 10g R2 on win2000

Hi all I recently installed 10g rel 2 on my win 2000 box. Since the have had a battle to run any 9i stuff eg dbca and pl/sql Developer. I 've fixed the dbca problem thanks for posts on this forum

Hi All If we try to perform any operation on a particular table we are keep getting "ORA-01460 unimplemented or unreasonable conversion requested " What could be wrong here? If it is related

sql loader problem

The answer is not to try and force the type in the control file LOAD DATA INFILE '1244.csv ' BADFILE '1244.bad ' DISCARDFILE '1244.dsc ' APPEND INTO TABLE ltest REPLACE
